Corsi’s of Livonia
We are one of Livonia's first-restaurants. Rocco had the option to buy the land where Livonia Mail now stands. Live and learn! In 2009, 2010, 2011 we were voted "the best pizza in Livonia" by Livonia residents. Free Press readers voted us the "best pizza on the west side in 2008
About our family…
Newlyweds, Rocco & Adelia moved to America without speaking a word of English. Hard work and saving pennies paid off when in 1958 they were able to open their own restaurant. Sons, Louie and Dino grew up on the pizza table. Louie met his wife Penny 37 years ago when she came in for a summer job. Dino met his wife Karen, 18 years ago when she began working "part time”! Granddaughters, Angela & Cristina did not grow up on the pizza table, but earned enough for their 1st two wheelers by folding napkins. Both college grads with full time careers and both married, they help out when needed. After 50 years, Rocco is still making the meat sauce, just as his Mother did in Italy. Adelia is still preparing fresh produce from her garden, and peeling real potatoes,
Back in the day…
If you grew up in Livonia you knew about Corsi’s. We were the "in" spot after football games. In 1970 the "bar" was opened. We then hosted such performers as Soupy Sales, Casey Clark, Lost & Found, Italian Opera nights, The Gaylord’s and Joe "the king" was behind the bar.
Our Banquet Center…
In 1979 we opened our banquet canter. Other than Roma Hall we were the only hall in Livonia. We seat 30 to 350 guests for weddings, communions, showers, memorial luncheons and school/sports banquets. We serve 8 course traditional Italian dinners to pizza parties. We have the perfect menu at affordable prices for all your events. We also do carry out and catering. Call or email Penny for details on all your Banquet needs. Our once a month buffet is great for small groups at $11.00. per person. It is an affordable holiday party option. Full cocktail service is available.
Our Restaurant…
Our "Pizzeria" Dining Room is open at 11:00 for lunch. We offer a full menu of traditional Italian delights, homemade pastas, homemade garlic rolls, homemade soups and cannoli’s. Before 3:00 you will find Penny answering the phone and taking your lunch order, Adelia preparing in the kitchen. After 3:00, Louie, Dino & Karen will takeover. We are a hands on family business! We welcome reservations or call ahead seating.
